About Pamela
From childhood I had a love for horses and I really wanted a horse. My dad found me a stud pony. Yes, Trigger, was a stud pony. As studs are not really the best option for children, especially when then run across highways to get to mares. The stable owner of RJD Riding Stables in PA and my father found me a gray Arabian mare named She’s A Doll. That started my love and passion for the Arabian horse. Doll was by my side from 5 to 23 years old and I put more miles on her than I did my car. Every day I rode her for as far and long as I could. As I grew up, I had a dream of having my own horse farm. After have 15 boarded horses, I thought it was time. I bought the 82 acre property and started to design the layout. Up went the 15,000 feet of fencing and construction of the barns. Interestedly enough, Max, my husband, set the roof trusses with the crane and we didn’t know each other at the time. I grew The Apex Centre to 38 breeding horses. When the financial crash of 2007-8 came, I changed the business plan and added trainers and boarders. Curtis Childers and Rachael Ball are the two trainers who are taking Apex Stables to another level. We have a 200×200 Jumping Ring, 160×90 Indoor Arena and coming 2022 – Full Sized Dressage Ring and 100×80 Western Ring.
In addition to my dream of building The Apex Centre I have been in the mortgage lending field for 25 years. I love helping people obtain loans to build their dreams.
